WEEK OF KNOWLEDGE UFMG / 2017

The week of knowledge began on the second week of October, when the scholarship recipients presented papers related to their production during the year. The scholarshipers Larissa Muniz, Pedro Paixão and Tayrine Vaz presented the following assignments:

Larissa: presentation of the article Deliberation through a ” space of reasons ”: an analysis of epistemic changes in the argumentative process between divided groups, authored by Professor Rousley Maia and co-authored by researchers Danila Cal, Gabriela Hauber, Vanessa Veiga and Patrícia Rossini.

Tayrine: presented the partial results of her own article Feminejo and the non-electoral representation: a study on the journalistic coverage of singers of sertaneja music.

Already during the days 16/10 to 20/10/2017, will happen the other presentations of the week of knowledge, whose subject deals with ” mathematics, diversity, knowledge ”. The event will feature seminar and presentation of projects, encompassing various courses and discussion topics. Professor Regiane Garcêz, an EME researcher, will participate in a roundtable discussion on October 18, titled: “Views on the disabled: capacity X disability”.
